Guidelines

The following guidelines apply to all member activities on the SVRT.org website.

  • All members must be over 13 years of age to register and agree to follow these guidelines. Children age 13 or younger may read material on the site but are not permitted to register or post.
  • This is a community website: SVRT reserves the right to edit or remove messages that are: off-topic, too long, profane, obscene, sexually explicit, contain derogatory comments about any person, religion, race, disability, condition, or gender.
  • Linking is OK when your link to other websites is for informational purposes only advertising here is not acceptable. SVRT reserves the right to remove a link or post if it appears to be primarily for the purpose of advertising.
  • Solicitations are not OK! It is not acceptable to solicit others to join other websites through posts, e-mail, or any other  resource. This ban includes advertisements, chain letters, multi-level marketing schemes, and similar solicitations.
  • Copyrighted material belonging to third parties may be posted only when the copyright is properly acknowledged in the materials and the member posting the material has the written permission of the copyright holder. 
  • Public Threats. This website may not be used to post any material that is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law.
  • Revealing your identity. Under normal circumstances your registration information is protected by our Privacy Policy. However, we reserve the right to reveal whatever information we may have about you in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you or any other activity on this website.
  • Discontinuing Membership. SVRT reserves the right to discontinue the membership of anyone who does not comply with these guidelines, or for any reason considered essential for the good of the community.
